Unlike many others we take production measurements during your home design consultation. No salespeople – just good, honest, advice.
Our consultants will bring product samples, large demonstration panels, colour swatches as well a tablet showing a large variety of our shutter installations to help you visualise your proposed shutter installation.
Our shutters are manufactured to our exacting specifications and that means to the millimetre. We can provide CAD drawings it required and this is especially useful for shaped shutters and French door shutters
All our fitters are trained and employed by the company. We don’t use sub-contractors.
The office will arrange a date and time for your home consultation. We take a production measure during the consultation – so only one visit is needed.
We will email a quote with each shutter itemised. We won’t sell to you in your home.
Let us know which shutters you would like to go ahead with and we will create an invoice. On receiving a 50% deposit we will place the shutters into production
Once we have sight of the delivery we will book in our fully employed fitters (they may even have been the original consultant that visited) for your install.
You will receive a post fit call from the office just to ensure you were pleased with the process from start to finish.

In this case our client had floor to ceiling windows, and these were multi aspect creating issues of privacy as well as heat gain in the summer and heat loss in the winter. Solid shutters are a small fraction of our business. Not because they aren’t great quality or look fantastic. It’s just because most customers buy shutters to control privacy and light. But solid shutters have their place. If you just want to have your shutters folded away during the day and then closed at night solid shutters will provide better blackout than louvered shutters. You may also find that solid shutters are closer to the original shutters you may have had in say a Georgian house and you would like to re-create this look. What to do with this tricky space that lets in so much light, heat and, if your overlooked, prying eyes. Petersfield’s history goes back to around the time of the Norman invasion of 1066 and came into being due to its ideal location close to the crossing of two major trade routes. Probably named after the church of St. Peter which was founded here the town thrived on the sheep farming and the production of wool during medieval times. The fact that surrounding land was chalk down meant that sheep farming tended to be best use of that land and a thriving wool business brought great prosperity to the area. In the 18th century sheep farming was moved north and Petersfield association with the wool trade decline. Numerous streets in Petersfield such as Carding House Sheep Street and Sheep Street hark back to those times.
