Remote Control Blinds

Remote control blinds can be operated via a range of remote controls that vary in sophistication. From simple control of individual blinds or groups of blinds (ideal over sliding or bifold doors) to timer settings.

Electric Blinds

We also offer mains powered blind solutions, which are primarily aimed at new build, extensions or renovations with re-wiring. In general though our ranges of lithium ion rechargeable blinds have a variety of motors that will lift even the heaviest of blinds. Ask for our expert advice. Even our roof blinds don’t necessarily need mains power as we can trickle charge these via solar panels.

Bifold and Sliding Door Blinds

Electric blinds are ideal for areas where there are large expanses of glass which lead to glare and solar gain. Our range of screen fabrics allow you to enjoy the outside view whilst protecting you and your furnishing from UV and heat.

Super Pleased with My New Shutters The team from The Great Shutter Co. arrived exactly on time this morning and completed a quick, efficient installation on most of my windows. The finished look is absolutely great. A few things that really stood out: Punctual & Quick: They arrived right on schedule and got the job done quickly. Professionalism: The team was incredibly polite and professional throughout the visit. Cleanliness: They were very tidy and cleaned up completely after themselves. Honesty & Quality Control: They noticed that one shutter panel was not working properly. Instead of leaving it, they immediately re-ordered a replacement for the faulty panel. Great Financing: I also appreciated their flexible "buy now, pay later" financing options, which made the process stress-free. I am super pleased with the results and the excellent service. When their New Year price came through and did, I was absolutely delighted. From initial order to final installation, their communication has been flawless. They kept me informed at every stage, never once failing to update appropriately or proactively. It’s rare to feel so well looked after by a company these days, but they managed it effortlessly. ⭐ Installation Day — Exceptional in Every Way Then came installation day, and Lee — the installer — was an absolute delight. He arrived on time, introduced himself warmly, and talked us through exactly what he’d be doing, how long each stage would take, and what to expect. With ten windows to fit, it was no small job, yet he handled it with calm precision. • Professionalism — He was incredibly tidy, organised, and respectful of our home. • Communication — He updated us after each room was completed. • Attention to detail — Every shutter looks amazing. • Cleanliness — He even brought his own hoover, and by the time he left, you wouldn’t have known he’d been. At the end of the day, he apologised for a small amount of cardboard residue on the drive — something we genuinely hadn’t even noticed — and insisted he’d return first thing the next morning to sweep it. And he did. ⭐ Going Above and Beyond One of the ten shutters had been manufactured incorrectly — these things happen — but even this was handled beautifully. As part of his return visit the next morning, Lee installed a temporary blind so we weren’t left without coverage.
