Unlike many others we take production measurements during your home design consultation. No salespeople – just good, honest, advice.
Our consultants will bring product samples, large demonstration panels, colour swatches as well a tablet showing a large variety of our shutter installations to help you visualise your proposed shutter installation.
Our shutters are manufactured to our exacting specifications and that means to the millimetre. We can provide CAD drawings it required and this is especially useful for shaped shutters and French door shutters
All our fitters are trained and employed by the company. We don’t use sub-contractors.
The office will arrange a date and time for your home consultation. We take a production measure during the consultation – so only one visit is needed.
We will email a quote with each shutter itemised. We won’t sell to you in your home.
Let us know which shutters you would like to go ahead with and we will create an invoice. On receiving a 50% deposit we will place the shutters into production
Once we have sight of the delivery we will book in our fully employed fitters (they may even have been the original consultant that visited) for your install.
You will receive a post fit call from the office just to ensure you were pleased with the process from start to finish.
Our client’s home is street facing and they were having issues with privacy not just at street level but also from the houses across the road. We installed bay window shutters that not only allowed for control of privacy but bounced light back into the room. It just seems that bay windows were made for shutters – they make the most of the space and add an elegant touch.
Our customer’s large lounge often got very hot due to the dual aspect windows. In addition, the full length windows caused issues of privacy. We mounted these beautiful all wood poplar shutters on the edge of the window recess and that meant our client could also bi-fold the shutters flat against the wall freeing up the window totally when needed. By choosing large louvers in conjunction with a split panel, light levels could be controlled whilst still maintaining privacy.

Whether you are looking for bi-folding or sliding shutters to marry with your doors we can help. Our track systems can be manufactured with louvers or with solid panel or even a mix of the two. This also makes them ideal for wardrobe doors where you may wish for some ventilation. Customers often take our bi-folding shutters and use these as a solution for dividing a room. With a top track and a low profile bottom guide rail these sliding shutter doors are easy to use. We have even installed waterproof sliding shutters in bathrooms and pool houses. The majority of shutter installations are for full height shutters. This simply means the shutter panel covers the full length of the window. The louvers on the panel are normally split into two equal banks of louvers that work independently of each other. These are divided by the addition of a mid-rail in the case of sash windows and in the case of casement windows by a control split. This simply means we make the two banks operate independently of each other without the need for a mid-rail. These splits can be placed anywhere along the height of the panel so should you wish to raise your privacy height that can of course be done.
