Have used The Great Shutter company twice. The first time was to install shutters at the back of my property and when it was time to do the front i did not consider going elsewhere. Their products are of excellent quality at very competitive prices. Communication from the company is excellent, Helen, Charlotte and Katie are so nice to talk to. Very helpful. 🙂 The guys carrying out the installation are professional, friendly and do a great job. They take all packaging away and leave your home looking like they've never been there. Apart from the stunning shutters expertly fitted of course! I would recommend The Great Shutter company to anyone looking to have shutters installed. 🙂

Lovely company to deal with. Everyone friendly and professional. The fitters were great. We have a lot of large windows. Can’t believe they got it all done in one long day. Have had The Great Shutter Company fit louvered shutters to the windows to the front of our home. From start to finish: Scott coming out to measure up, dealing with Charlotte for submitting our order, Scott and Alan comning out to fit the shutters, and finally Helen for our final payment, the process has been smooth and simple. We are really pleased with the time it has taken from ordering the shutters, to them being installed. They look great, feel great and make our home look great.

We received excellent service through out the whole process,the young man who came to measure and show us the range of shutters and gave his recommendations without any pressure and how long the process would take from start to finish was very helpful,when it came to the fitting the two men worked well together and had our shutters up in no time and the workmanship was second to none they were very tidy and left it spotless were they had been working,we are very glad we chose The Great shutter company not only were they the only company that didn’t try to pressure us they also gave the lowest quote for the best quality hard wood, I would highly recommend them.

We're delighted with our new shutters. The quality is fabulous and the service was great. The fitting team were friendly and courteous and cracked on with no fuss. Their work was of a very high standard and they took real pride in the finish. We did have a couple of hiccups (as can happen when you've got multiple trades working on a project) but everything was dealt with professionally and swiftly. We're very happy with the finished project. I just wish we'd had them fitted years ago.

I chose this company because they are local, and had great reviews. Having got our shutters fitted now, I can see why the rave reviews.Measuring up was done spot on time, very efficient and no heavy sales pitch!We ordered, the blinds arrived after an expected wait as they had to come from China.The fitter arrived on time, did a fantastic job, and cleared up after himself.Great job all round.I’m definitely happy to recommend them.

Dealing with The Great Shutter Company has been really easy from start to finish.From the initial consultation the communication was easy , especially after we had decided to change the design after the first consultation, everything was changed to our satisfaction before any ordering was done.There was roughly a Three month wait as the shutters were coming from China, but this is not the Companies fault and we were in no hurry.We were kept up to date once they knew they would be arriving into the UK.A mutual date was then set for fitting.On the arranged date the fitters arrived and it was amazing just how quick everything went together, and just one minor adjustment needed, which they resolved easily, all fitted in a morning.We had gone for split level shutters in the bay window, so we can either open the top or the bottom blinds independently of each other, so we can still open our top or bottom windows.They can also be fully opened so your windows are visible, which makes it easier for cleaning the windows on the inside.The back window design were for just straight down opening the full length in the middle like cupboard doors, making it easy again to reach to open or clean the window.Most of the rubbish was taken back with the fitters, with just a small amount for us to discard.What was a dim bay window and rear window with vertical blinds, it is now bright and light with the white shutters, plus the privacy aspect is a great improvement to our property.The communication carried on after having them fitted with a courtesy call around a month later to check everything was to our satisfaction.We really wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending The Great Shutter Company to anyone thinking of making a change.Great quality at very competitive prices.

We had our shutters fitted just in time for Christmas and we are so pleased with them. We chose this company because they were local and didn’t use pushy sales techniques. They were easy to speak to over the phone and arrange the initial appointment. Measuring up and quoting was simple, included some really helpful advice to help us decide what we wanted. There was a bit of a wait for shutters due to the time of year but it was well worth it! Fitting was done on time, fitter was polite, talked through what he’d done and gave some advice too. The shutters have transformed the look of our victorian terrace and everyone who visits comments how smart they look. We feel we got great value and would recommend The Great Shutter Co wholeheartedly.

Alan and Scott were great - very quick and efficient - fully fitted a wide living room window set in around 4 hours. They explained everything afterwards, we’re very polite and even took their shoes off while coming in and out the house - a polite attention to detail.

Excellent service, very friendly customer support team and quality products. The installation was very good and they could come a few weeks earlier than the scheduled date (as we were expecting to wait three months this was welcome!). All shutters are expensive but we felt these were better value than larger companies. Would recommend.

We purchased shutters with electronic black out blinds for a numbers of windows at our home. The shutters fit perfectly to our windows and are exactly as we hoped for. The installation was very efficient, with all rubbish taken away at the end of the day. I particularly appreciated the effort made to ensure that our blinds functioned correctly before finishing the installation: we had support in setting up all the controls, app and voice control to our liking.

The shutters by The Great Shutter company are absolutely gorgeous. Really high quality feeling and we had a great experience with the salesman Mike who was really helpful when he came to measure up and quote us. Then again with Jordan when he fit them for us. There was a really long wait and the delivery date was delayed by a couple of weeks but it seems everyone I knew ordering shutters had a long wait! Even still they were apologetic and helpful with tracking my order when it was late so I didn’t downgrade the stars.

Salesman came to my home with shutter sample, he was very knowledgeable and took the time to go through everything with me. The purchase was very straightforward and everyone I dealt with was very helpful. Our install was smooth and the installers hoovered and tidied up when they were finished. We love our shutters and have had no issues at all since install, however, we also have the peace of mind that if we do have any problem we can contact The Great Shutter Company and they will be happy to assist us.

We recently had plantation shutters fitted in our lounge and I must say the finish is far beyond our expectations. From the time we made contact with The Great Shutter Company right through to theinstallation we found them extremely helpful and informative. On the initial measuring visit they were first class and the samples that were shown to us allowed us to see the quality of the product we would receive. It was explained that a wait of sixteen weeks may be needed for the shutters to arrive, but in the end they came in twelve weeks. The two guys who came to fit them were so polite, knowledgeable and extremely clean with their work. We have been so impressed from start to finish that we are now thinking of having more installed. From the initial telephone request to The Consultant coming to measure and give advice and to the great fitting expertise resulting in such wonderful looking Plantation Shutters it has given us so much peace of mind in coping with the Southern Aspect, the effect is incredible. Yes we are up for Sale but its increased our likelihood of reaching an earlier sale and price advantage over much competition. its such a shame to leave these beautiful Shutters, but we will be contacting The Great Shutter Co again very soon when we move in to our new Apartment as their overall expertise we have never encountered before. My experience of The Great Shutter Co., from start to finish, has been excellent. All staff members have been extremely helpful and professional throughout. The installation team have done a fantastic job and gave an overview of how best to care for my new shutters. I had a minor problem with one of the magnets on one of the shutters post installation that the team were incredibly quick to come and rectify. Extremely happy with price, quality and service provided and would really recommend.

Upstairs and downstairs shutters fitted at the front of the house, they were a fantastic company to deal with from start to finish, everything went very smoothly and apart from a slight delay due unfortunately to a combination of brexit and covid (which obviously was completely out of their control ) we are extremely pleased with the results. The whole process was well managed from initial design visit to the final fit , this is a great example of how this work should be done! It’s really nice to work with a company who do exactly what they say they will do when they say they will do it and at the agreed price. I have absolutely no qualms about recommending them and have already done so to my friends, thanks for a great job well done.
